5 stars for management and staff
5 stars for management and staff, condition of apartment and low-key community feeling of the complex. We became aware of ... the townhouse (apartment we now occupy) through a friend who used to live in this complex. We contacted management who showed us the place, helped us through the application process and facilitated every detail (on their end) up to and beyond our move-in date. On move-in, the condition of the apartment was thoroughly clean and necessary repairs (from the previous tenants) had been completed. Management, staff and onsite maintanence people are always available, attentive, personable and professional. If we have a question or a need, we always get a speedy response. Disregard negative reviews from a few years ago, when the property was under different ownership. Under the new (and current) owners, things are apparently quite different. I've lived here about 4 years now, and in that time I've seen the complex change hands between several owners. Rents have ... gone up over the years, of course, but for once I feel like the management is dedicated to making it an enjoyable place to live - worth the money. And I looove that it is so close to downtown. They've re-done my wood deck so it's all nice, smooth wood and looks really clean. The old fading light bulbs in all the sidewalk light poles were recently replaced and now it's so well lit and safe. I like being able to park in the protected gated area as well. The team at the front office (shout out to angelique and billy on the weekends!) has had more maintenance people lately so my recent work requests have been handled much more quickly than in the past. I recently heard they are revamping the clubhouse as well - it looks like it's gonna be really really nice! Definitely starting to feel like a really nice, legit complex now. My experience with The Overlook staff has been extremely pleasant, even though I am not a resident at this complex, they ... were VERY helpful and understanding with my situation. I spoke with Billy originally, and he was very informative, personable and very knowledgeable about the area, the complex and the individual apartments. He answered all my questions and was so helpful! Secondly, I spoke briefly with Virginia"Ginny", and she was so understanding and was able to accommodate my unique request to the best of per ability. I've lived at Vesty Park (formerly The Overlook At Mile High) for the past few months. I've lived in a number of apartment ... complexes over the years so I think I have a good barometer for a certain standard of living when it comes to amenities, location and price. Having lived on the south end of Denver in the Lone Tree area for a long while I wanted to try something more urban. After looking at a few places, my experience with the staff was great from the start. Angelique was nothing short of ideal. Although there were some initial snags with the application process, Angelique kept good communication with me throughout the process and was easy to interact with given her positive (southern hospitality) attitude, knowledge of a sizable property and willingness to actually listen to what my requirements were before attempting to force a unit down my throat. The apartment provides the things I was looking for in an urban setting. Some getting used to with a mix of demographics in the area, but hey, that's what I signed up for. I've lived here for 2 years and love it! It's right next to a light rail station and there's a park right next door and a ... pool! The management team is awesome and helpful, especially Ginny! Great place; Great staff! I been here two years; and haven't had any problems with the old management (The Overlook At Mile ... High), or the new management (Vesty Park). The same way that Lisa and Kim would make sure, is now the way that Genny and Dawn makes sure that every issue I present is addressed and corrected immediately. Classy people, who may appear intimidating but are actually considerate and professional. The property is maintained pretty well and is surrounded by expressways, parks, restaurants and right outside of downtown. I would recommend this place to any and everyone looking for a new place! They respond fast , are very efficient and real friendly .Dave took care of some of the ... missing screens right away and fixed the garbage disposal in one minute! I have lived here for over 20 years. Over that time I have never had a problem with the Staff or maintenance, and any problems we're quickly resolved to my satisfaction. The easy access to Downtown, the Light Rail, major shopping centers, (Cherry Creek, Park Meadows, and Flatirons Crossing) as well as I-25, make Vesty Park an ideal location if you are looking to move.
